| PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN FROM ONLINE PORN... |
Sadly, this week, the Supreme Court once again took action in support of Internet pornography by ruling against the Child Online Protection Act. In a 5-4 decision, the Court upheld the lower court ruling blocking the law and then sent the case back to the lower court for another trial.
This will be the third time that COPA is tied up in the courts. The ACLU and others are doing everything in their power to stymie our efforts to protect our children
from internet pornography.
What can you do in protest?
#1 -- Call the Supreme Court and let them know you are
ashamed at the ruling in Ashcroft v. ACLU:
Call 202-479-3211 and press "1".
When you call, you will likely be told that the Supreme
Court has no facility to handle phone comments. Nonetheless,
we still want to send a message to the court that citizens
are outraged by the court's actions today. Leave that
message with the receptionist at the Public Information
Office.
#2 -- Send a letter to Justice Kennedy expressing your outrage.
